Conducted community workshops and WebIT training sessions in 25 regional towns, drawing the communities together, raising awareness about the potential of the Internet and the possibilities behind our own regional portal.
Addressed numerous state and local government authorities and local service providers on the topic of community portal development and what it could mean to them.
Conducted workshops for local businesses in WebIT and assisted ECU representative Victor Annamalay with the pilot E-GateWAy/E-Commerce workshops in Albany.
Presented the ” 9 P’s or Portal Development” address at the CASOC ( Creating and Sustaining On-line Communities) Conference at Mandurah 2000.( A PowerPoint copy of this presentation is available)
